Gregory studied Biochemistry and Philosophy at Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA). He then went on to pursue his medical degree at the University of Chicago. His prior research interests have spanned topics from the effect of BDNF on the dendritic arbor to top-down attentional control in schizophrenia patients. Greg is taking a one-year leave of absence from medical school in order to pursue full-time research at SPECS. At SPECS, his research focuses on whole-brain modeling of epilepsy as well as investigating how connectomics can contribute to neurosurgical pre-operative planning.
